Download Problems

This article covers the most common download and installation issues.

Common Symptoms

• Download does not start.
• Download speed is very slow.
• Download gets stuck at a certain percentage.
• Download fails before completion.
• Installation fails after downloading.
• Insufficient disk space.

Troubleshooting

Verify Available Disk Space

Make sure you have enough free storage space for the game and any temporary files required during installation.

Restart the Download

If the download appears to be stuck:

1. Click the Refresh button in the launcher.
2. Alternatively, press Ctrl + R or F5 while the launcher window is focused.
3. Wait a few moments while the launcher rechecks the download status.

The launcher will verify already downloaded files and continue from where it left off whenever possible.

Restart the Launcher

Close the launcher completely and open it again.

Check Your Internet Connection

An unstable connection may cause downloads to slow down, pause, or fail.

Try:

• Restarting your router.
• Using a wired connection.
• Testing another network.
• Using a mobile hotspot.

Check Firewall and Antivirus Software

Security software may block downloaded files or interfere with the installation process.

Temporarily disable your antivirus and try again.

If this resolves the issue, add the launcher to your allowlist.

Slow Download Speeds

Download performance can be affected by:

• Your internet connection.
• ISP routing.
• Temporary network congestion.
• Geographic distance from download servers.

Testing another network or a VPN may help identify network-related issues.

Resume Interrupted Downloads

The launcher automatically attempts to resume interrupted downloads whenever possible.

Simply reopen the launcher and start the download again.
